All homestead applications must be accompanied by a legible copy of the applicant’s current drivers license or state issued identification card as required by the Texas Property Tax Code. Applicants may also be required to complete an affidavit to qualify for an exemption under certain situations.

The Appraisal District is giving public notice of the capitalization rate to be used each year to appraise property receiving an exemption under Section 11.1825 of the Property Tax Code for Organizations Constructing or Rehabilitating Low-Income Housing: Property Not Previously Exempt.
